Introducing Thudipu: The AI Clinical Operating System for Modern Healthcare

Reimagining outpatient healthcare with ambient transcription, offline-first reliability, and double-entry pharmacy ledgers.

Healthcare delivery is fundamentally about human connection. Yet across outpatient clinics, multispecialty centers, and bustling hospital departments, physicians spend nearly half of every consultation interacting with rigid software interfaces rather than looking at their patients.

When we founded Gorav and began architecting Thudipu, we made a conscious decision: we would not build another generic electronic health record that treats doctors like data-entry clerks. Instead, we set out to build an AI-native Clinical Operating System designed from the ground up for the realities of modern clinical practice.

1. Ambient Consultation Scribing with Strict Human Review

Thudipu listens quietly in the background during patient consultations. Using specialized clinical entity extraction, it automatically structures conversation streams into standard SOAP notes, vital records, diagnoses, and medication regimens.

Crucially, Thudipu never commits clinical data autonomously. Every single prescription and note requires explicit electronic sign-off from the attending physician. AI acts as an infallible draft assistant, while clinical authority remains strictly with the doctor.

2. Zero-Downtime Offline Resilience

In many regions, internet connectivity is inconsistent. A busy clinic cannot halt operations because a fiber line is cut. Thudipu is built as a local-first Progressive Web App (PWA). All consultations, stock dispatches, and invoices are written instantly to encrypted local storage and synced idempotently to transactional outboxes the moment connectivity returns.

3. Double-Entry Pharmacy & Inventory Ledgers

Clinic revenue leakage and stock discrepancies often occur at the intersection of consultation rooms and in-house pharmacies. Thudipu implements a double-entry ledger for every medication unit—tracking batch numbers, expiry dates, and dispense events with cryptographic auditability.

4. The Doctor Authority Engine

Following a finalized consultation, Thudipu generates bilingual patient care guides (in English and Tamil) and cryptographically signed doctor verification QR codes. Patients leave with personalized recovery instructions, while clinics maintain airtight compliance with modern ABDM and DPDP digital health standards.

Thudipu represents the first major milestone in Gorav’s mission to build generational software for real-world industries.
